How much does framing cost?
The price of framing consists of the value of the selected frame list and the size of the work to be framed .

"that white thing around there"...?
So, a passepartout, nicknamed paspa, paspis, paspas, hole cardboard, board cardboard...the beloved child has many names.
Mounts are used, for example, in watercolors and graphic magazines; in frames that include glass. Mounts prevent the work from touching the glass so that the work is preserved. Aesthetically, mounts give space to the work.
The mount goes around the work. It is usually white , but can be any color.
How to choose a frame?
Rules of thumb: warm-toned frames for a work with warm tones, graphic frames for a linear, graphic work, and round frames for a work with round lines.
A shade that appears in 20% of the work is the right choice for the shade of the frames.
Contrast is a powerful effect.
The function of the frame is to visually highlight the work beautifully. Choosing a frame is above all a matter of taste , don't choose a frame list that you don't like. You will be looking at it for decades!
Black and white frames
Big furniture giants have introduced simple frame lists that do not necessarily respect the work. Artists also prefer this style of frame because they are very neutral. They do not influence the purchase decision (compare yellow frames; if the customer does not like yellow, the purchase decision will not be made because of the frames).
However, it is worth framing the work according to its conditions , with frames that beautifully emphasize it. If you liked a certain tone or shape of the work, it is worth emphasizing it with your choice of frame.
Note: these frames do not protect the work at all, quite the opposite.
How quickly can you get a frame?
We frame within a week . If we have to order a frame list, it may take longer. We can also frame faster upon request if we have the material in stock.
Disposable frames
Cheap frames are destructive! Thin plexiglass or glass does not protect against UV light at all, meaning the color brilliance disappears quickly. Background cardboard or paper is usually not acid-free, so it corrodes the work from underneath. Under no circumstances should you put anything valuable, even a work with sentimental value, in disposable frames.
