The exhibition of 8th grade students at the Watercolor School presents works created during the optional creative photography course in fine arts. The collection includes photographs and collages that reflect the young people's own perspectives, experimentation, and visual thinking.
The photographs were taken mainly with mobile phones during lessons, which highlights the accessibility of photography and everyday creativity. The works explore, among other things, composition, light and atmosphere.
The collages combine the students' own photographs and recycled materials, such as images from the Finnish Art in the 19th Century picture book. The exhibition highlights how traditional and contemporary visual worlds can meet in a new and insightful way.
