Riikka Helminen is an artisan and craftswoman from central Finland who works under the name Kipinätaide. She creates unique steel sculptures almost entirely from recycled materials, combining craftsmanship and sustainable thinking.

Helminen's works often feature animals, especially familiar figures from Finnish nature and rural environments. The sculptures combine playfulness, recognisability and the rough aesthetics of the material.
