Early years
The first drawing I remember was the leaves of my grandmother's Amazon lily. That's when I realized how perspective works and how to draw shapes. I was about 5 years old at the time, and it was a great experience. I still remember that moment.

Ulla Kauhanen
is a visual artist, illustrator, poet and art professional living in Hattula. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions around Finland and in Florida, USA. He has taught, produced angel events, participated in writers' evenings and worked with visual art culture around Finland.

I am a visual artist and painter living in Hämeenlinna. I paint with pigment powders and acrylic and oil paints. I am also interested in experimenting with techniques that allow me to achieve different surface structures and liveliness in my work. Lately I have also tried making small sculptures from papier-mâché or fabric, or combining both.

I create unique steel sculptures. My sculptures are made from almost 100% recycled materials. I design custom works together with the client according to their wishes.

Anna Kolehmainen
is a visual artist and a printmaker, whose main media are intaglio, Monotype and drawing. Subject matter of her art includes color studies, paths and animals. She is interested in trying to understand life itself through art. "By observing and creating, it is possible to get a clearer picture of internal and external reality."
Kolehmainen lives and works in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

Ruth Johansson
studied, among other things, comics art at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki in 2009 – 2010. Johansson's early production consists of expressive paintings, but later the main focus of his art has been on comics and pop art expression. Johansson calls his style Comix art, whose roots go back to the underground comics of the 1960s in America.
